Helloo again. I hope I was helpful with the top. There's a lot of people here with nice lookin vivs..So don't be shy ask away.
I'm Erin, I'm new to the forum (obviously!) I do not currently own any frogs, but I am in the process of converting my 35 gallon hex aquarium into a vivarium and am looking to put a WTF or two in it. I've actually been lurking around the forum for several weeks now to research up on what I need to know before diving into frog ownership and just recently registered an account so that I can ask some more questions! I'm planning on starting to build the vivarium in this next week, then I figure I'll allow all the plants to settle in for a couple more weeks before I add new family members to the tank.
Currently I've been more of a furry animal type of owner. My husband and I live in the Pacific Northwest and we own two dogs and two cats. Our dogs consist of a 1.5 year old malamute named Nikita, although we refer to her as Yetidog or Hellhound more often and our awesome 7 yr old mutt, Squatch, who puts up with way too much from Nikita. He thought his life was nice and peaceful, and then we went and brought his new baby sister home. Our two cats are a tuxedo named Savage and a torti named Fatso, although she's finally lost the excess weight so she no longer lives up to her name!
Here are some pictures of the current critters:

And Fatso and Savage when Savage was still a kitten:
I'm hoping to be able to add photos of the new amphibious relatives in a few more weeks!

Nice looking pets. Is the turto male. I love long hair cats.
Welcome Erin! Malamutes are one of my favorite breeds. Nikita is absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to see your viv and your new babies when you get them![]()

George - Yes your reply helped a great deal! I still had one question about the screen for the main opening though - I just wanted to know how I could adjust the screen so that I can get in and out of the main opening, rather than gluing it downAnd our torti is female, we picked her up at an adoption in NJ when we were living there. She was a feral kitten, so we like to say she has Jersey street smarts and is unaffected by the antics of Nikita and Savage.
Thank you Amy! She was (and still is) a handful and is constantly going through training to calm her down, but she's improved substantially from when she was a pup. I can't wait until she's 3-4 years old, she's already turning into a great dog!
