I started seeing them about mid last summer. They must have found a good place to brumate, I have a field stone foundation so a lot of crevaces, and I'm pretty sure this year I've seen 2 different sizes and colors. Hopefully male and female, hopefully they find a place to reproduce, if they can find a place to lay, I'll have more next summer. My rabbitry is in the basement so they really help with the bugs and spiders. I'd welcome a bunch more I also get th occasional woodhouse toad as well. They come from the closed off well outside the basement window.

That's really neat and that would be awesome if they reproduced! I plan to breed some Wood frogs soon myself .

They look great. Love the colours, the picture of them sat together is great.

That would be really cool... from my understanding wood frogs are one of the harder species to keep because they're so particular about their habitat but I guess my basement is providing something they like. I honestly never thought I'd see them again after winter (winters here get ungodly cold), but was pleasantly surprised when I finally did see them come out again. I hope you have success with your future breeding attempts.

Thank you ! Yeah, your right about that lol! I have kept several Wood frogs over the past 7 years and have had problems in keeping them. However, through careful observations, I have found successful ways in caring for them. Do you think they might hibernate in your basement?
