    Default WTF sleeps all day?

    Hi everybody,
We got 2 WTFs about 2 weeks ago and all they do is sleep all day. I guess they are only active at night when I'm sleeping. I'm not really having any fun with them. How do you guys interact with them?

Yeah mine do that to.. they're just chillin. I've had mine for a year and a half now, and they don't really do anything but eat, so I try different ways of feeding them and have fun with that. I used to mist my WTFs just before feeding every day so that they would be expecting food every time I spray, making them more active, but I went through alot of crickets feeding daily, so now I feed them less often, but I still mist regularly, and the misting allways gets them going.

That is a good trick. Cooz I know that there are some people on the forum that have friendly white's that have recognized who brings the food but White's are not especially active frogs.

I used to take mine to the movies, but they would always talk during the movie, so we stop doing that. So now we just stay home and either play chess (I get to win sometimes) or video games (they really love Grand Theft Auto)

Seriously, aside from feeding time they really aren't that interactive, most amphibians can be described that way. If you want some thing that is more active during the day, try darts or mantellas, but you should have some frog husbandry experience under your belt before try keeping them. I also find fire-bellied toads to be quite active during the day, they're cheaper and easier to keep.
