I had the same issue occur with some cultures I bought from Petco. They kept producing flies but I couldn't tip the jar. My home done cultures that I had at the same time didn't turn to liquid so I figured it was the Petco cultures themselves.
1.0.0 Red Eyed Leaf/ Frog - Agalychnis callidryas
1.1.1 Bumblebee Dart Frog - Dendrobates leucomelas
1.1.0 Dendrobates truncatus - Yellow Striped
1.1.1 Dendrobates tinctorius – Bakhuis Mountain
1.1.0 - Dendrobates tinctorius - Powder Blue
1.1.0 - Ranitomeya vanzolinii
Were these those little vials from the pet store or your own culture? I've had them turn to goo before, if the flies were especially prolific and the food was near exhausted. I've recently noticed a few of mine flying as well, which I figured meant a wild one managed to sneak into the culture to pass on the gift of flight.
All 4 of them ranged from 8-26 to 9-7, so they shouldn't have been exhausted yet. They weren't the vials, they were from a local pet store that does their own cultures. I've never had a problem with them before. All 4 of my earlier ones are still doing fine. I think I will just have to let the pet store know that I had major issues with them the last 2 rounds and see if they've had other complaints.

It depends on why their flightless as to why you now have some fliers; are they flightless or wingless and why blahblahblah. My guess would be things got too warm.
I'm pretty sure Temp is the reason they are flightless. The thing is, it's gotten COOLER out, I live in Wisconsin and we arent running the heat yet. But I thought they flew if they were too warm. I have no idea, I'm just very frustrated at the moment to lose 4 cultures. I don't culture myself, so that's $40 of fairly new cultures ruined. I might have to start though because I'm really annoyed.

Amy can you call the pet store and see if they'll replace the cultures?
It has definitely chilled down over the last week.
