Thumbs up Frodo and Sam meet each other finally!

Today was a special day for my Grays.

We finally moved Sam out of its large cricket keeper, where hes been since May 24 week-end, into Frodo's terrarium today (Exo Terra 18x18x24). Within minutes Sam made it to the back corner and up to the light and fell asleep on the glass. Little did he know Frodo was watching him like a hawk... but he never lunged at Sam so Im hopeing that is a good sign. I have been worried for ages, and will still watch them closely, that there size difference might be an issue. Sam has yet to notice Frodo and is still asleep and Frodo for the time being has seemed to forget about his new room mate. I will keep you all updated and hopefully take a few pictures later. Still unsure of Sams sex...

Awesome!! It's funny how exciting (and a bit nerve racking) it is to finally mix your frogs

I know lol. I just went and peeked on them since the light has been off for a bit and thats usually when Frodo starts roaming and he was on the glass and I swore he looked fatter than usual... and I couldnt find Sam for a few seconds. I over reacted I know lol. Both are still alive and well and moveing around. Tonight is gonna be nerve racking the most I think... I hope I can sleep. If they both survive there first night together ... Can I stop panicking?

Ok well they are both awake and have seen each other. For the past 30min I have been watching them follow each other around but staying slightly away from each other. About 2 min ago they came in contact breifly as Sam climbed right on top and over Frodo on the glass and now they are back to following eachother curiously. Its probaby the most activity Ive seen from both of them since we got them lol. Im going to try and feed them both seperately shortly useing my cricket tweezers or the glass bowl if they get near it.

Glad they made it through the night!! I usually wake up to a very messy tank. It wasn't so bad when Paddy was alone, but 4 gray tree frogs...wow, messy messy!!!
