Default Grey Tree Frogs - care help

Hello everyone, I'm completely new to frog-keeping and I find that I have many many questions. I have what I think to be three Grey Tree frog froglets and I am at a loss for how to feed them and house them now that they have passed the tadpole stage. As far as my research has taken me it seems that I need to feed them fruit flies and provide lots of shrubs for them to explore and hide in along with a bath dish. I have limited resources living in a small town with now car and I would greatly appreciate any insights into how to care for my newly transformed frogs (websites and such?).

    Thankssss soooo much.

Yes for now you can feed them fruit flies. I get mine from Joshsfrogs.com. If all goes well, they will quickly outgrow fruit flies and take larger food such as juvenile crickets. They will appreciate plenty of climbing areas and vertical space. Be careful not to leave the water level in the dish too high. There is a good care article on them right on this very forum Frog Forum - Gray Tree Frog Care and Breeding

I have to agree with Brian, fruit flies then pinhead crickets until they can have bigger ones. That care sheet link he posted was an amazeing help for me. Also I started a Grey Tree Frog Group on here just for Grey owners and lovers so feel free to check that out by going to my profile and clicking the link. In the Group page theres a post of ouside Grey sites I was able to find and found helpful. Hope you join my group and post pics or your lil ones there. I keep my water level in the dish shallow as well to avoid drowning there heads are still above the water when sitting in it.

Thanks, thats very helpful. While I'm waiting for the delivery of some pinhead crickets is there any more commonly available food I could offer them? Also, would it be reasonable to expect them to eat freeze-dried mini crickets?

They'll only go after stuff that is moving. My adult Grays have learned that food is at the end of the tweezers, so they'll eat dead stuff I wave in front of them (<-typically a cricket I've just accidentally squished). You could try waving freeze-dried crickets around with tweezers but that might be hard given the size needed for a froglet, and they might just be afraid of the tweezers at this point.

You could try seeding the viv with springtails or the smallest pill/sow bugs you can find. They not only will do some waste recycling, but are frog snacks.

If you can catch smaller insects in your area such as moths, gnats, flies, etc., they should take them as long as the food is smaller than the width of their heads. You can also try extra small phoenix worms - though it's hit and miss whether your frogs will find them appealing. Some take them, some won't - it depends on the individual.
