Hey Patti, welcome! Whites Tree Frogs are awesome. Just a quick question, since you live in San Diego did you have no power for awhile for your frog?
Hello everyone, thouht I would say a quick "hi", I'm a new owner of a whites tree frog, Priscilla. I think she is between two and three years old. She's so darn cute it kills me. This is my first frog, and while I have done. tons of research (and still am) Expect questions to follow.........![]()

Thanks for all the welcomes, there will definitely be pictures coming! And yes.... Priscilla was without power for a few hours but it's been hot and humid here and dinner still came on time so she was pretty unaffected by the whole thing.
Welcome. That poweroutage was crazy wasnt it? We live in Oceanside, but it only affected our fish really. It has been to hot to have lights on in my Whites tank atleast. Cant wait to see pics of Priscilla.
Hello and welcome aboard.Feel free to ask any questions. There's alot of pros around here.lol I'm going to start taking pics of my whites soon. I just got to find a way cause they are on the run, I they're not in there tank.
Put out wet moss and some water dishes. Then wait till night time if you add water and moss dishes especially in places where they might hide you will find them by feeding time. I hope you find them safe and sound. My frog I have had for the longest time has excaped now twice. Once in the spring and the cat found him, but luckly didnt eat or scratch him, and once yesterday when we found him by our newly set up 55 gallon fish tank.
Does anyone know how often WTF's shed? I've had her 2 weeks and I've seen her shed twice. Is that too often? Do they shed more often if they eat too much? While the dumpy look is cute, I don't want her to get too fat....
