If it's too cold he may think its time to hibernate or estivate. If you did give the little guy more substrate and its deep he will bury himself completely. Here is one thing you can do to make sure he is still eating. When its time to feed him dig up only his head to where he opens his eyes and can see. Drop in the crickets and see if he decides to climb out and have some dinner. It's not usually a problem when they completely bury themselves. They all do it. Grif just did yesterday and today he has his head above the soil. Post back and let us know if he responds to the food tonight. He may also have been stressed a little from switching enclosures.
