Default Time for a new tank?

So i have had my pacman for about a month now and he has def gotten bigger as of right now he is just in one of the kritter things im wondering if i should move him to my bigger 10 gal tank.... I dont want him to feel trapped in the small one yet will the size of a bigger tank stress him out because he seems to be doing fine in the smaller one.... here is a pic i took... now i just these frogs dont need much room cuz they just burrow and chill but what do you think should i move him or wait a little?

Yes a ten gallon would be better. But what is the saying....don't fix it if its not broken. If he's active and eating Id personally leave him alone.

i'll say to make things easier move it the next time when you have to change substrate(unless things looks bad).

If you're worried about the little guy needing space then remove the little house. I'm guessing he doesn't use it to hide since the little guy is buried nxt to it. Although cute and kind of appealing as a feature in the enclosure it isn't really necissary since pacmans burrow.

so I was bored the other day and I moved him over to my 10gal tank he seemed to like it went inthe water bowl for awhile took a poop but he has been burrowed for almost 24 hrs now... is that norm or could it be cuz he doesnt like the new tank... he never really burrowed that deep for that long in the other one.... there is alot more substrate in this one but it is completely covered in this one.. is it norm should i burrow him out... he does seem to be eating i put about 5 crickets left in there and all i can see is 2 so i guess thats a good sign?

They will completely bury themselves from time to time. If you worry about the little guy just dig him up to the point to where you can see if he is still breathing. If it's too cold he may think its time to hibernate or estivate. If you did give the little guy more substrate and its deep he will bury himself completely. Here is one thing you can do to make sure he is still eating. When its time to feed him dig up only his head to where he opens his eyes and can see. Drop in the crickets and see if he decides to climb out and have some dinner. It's not usually a problem when they completely bury themselves. They all do it. Grif just did yesterday and today he has his head above the soil. Post back and let us know if he responds to the food tonight. He may also have been stressed a little from switching enclosures.

I would give him 1 a month and no more than 1 every 3 weeks. I was giving my C. Cranwelli Grif 2 a week to help him gain weight, but he was sick for 3 months and I had to force feed him to help him recover because he stopped eating on his own. I did it for 4 weeks. I would feed your guy more than 1 a month if he's healthy and is at a healthy weight.

Glad it's adjusting to new setup nicely. Some frogs seem to prefer smaller spaces and vice versa.

As for feeding pinkies, your frog will be just fine without but if you do decide to use them go with once a month.
