I just finished the false bottom and background. Im wondering if some peat moss, a brick plantation soil and some spaghnum moss would be a good substrate?
It depends on what you're keeping. If it's dart frogs, I suggest either a Clay substrate or (my preference) ABG mix. If it's frogs that might get some of the substrate in their mouths when feeding, you want to go with a very fine particle substrate, such as coir/coconut fiber.
