yes.crickets arent that important
no. more variety the better
go see a shrink! no frogs worth that
alrighty then...i need all of your advice. am i going overboard with this whole cricket thing? i have 3 cricket tubs. two are being fed earthworm fish food and the other is being fed brine shrimp flake food. all get oranges and vegi scraps. is this overboard? theese crickets are used to feed 5 cuban tree frogs.
I think we need tub dimensions to make a proper judgement. I mean, after all, are we talking shoebox sized tubs, butter tubs, small rubbermaid, large rubbermaid, refrigerator box?
ohhh about 4 foot long by 2 foot wide by 1 1/2 foot high
yuppers
I guess the next question becomes are you drowning in crickets even after feeding? If not, then you're fine. If so, then yeah maybe just a smidgen overboard.
I could never be out of crickets...the more the better for me but I got large toads so they eat ALOT...one ate a mouse yesterday
i'm up to my eyeballs in crickets! only have 6 cubans to feed!
You can freeze them. Iv found that if u get something to poke the dead ones with and make them move the frogs will usually go after them anyways.
How many are in each tub. Do you breed them? I got 500,3/4 inch for 7 bucks. I put them in a tub 2x2x2. They have patatoe, water gel,and some gecko food ,for now.
Lol gecko food huh? When I got my 500 order in of that size I put them in a twenty gal tub. And instead of feeding them gecko food k killed a large medeterannian gecko in my back yard (they r everywhere here) and my crickets ate that in about ten min Hahaha. Crickets are feroushous eaters for a bug...
500 wouldnt be touching the tip of the iceberg....about 3000 per container
Send me some please , just kidding .I think im goin to breed the bloody things.![]()
