I found a frog this morning in my living room, I have no idea how he got there but I figured I might as well take care of him since I've already done some research on frogs and have a general understanding of how to care for them.
At first I thought it was a wood frog since I've heard they are common in my area but my frog isn't brown and doesn't have markings around it's eyes.
I've been searching the internet all day to try and figure out what species it is. I think my frog is young since it's only the size of the tops of my thumbs.
I'm sorry for the low quality but I don't have a higher quality camera at this time. I'll try and get one though.
He is a small frog so markings were hard to see on him but he seems to have some black speckles or blob shapes on his back. Also around the bottoms of his feet it's a little bit yellow but I think that's just because he's young.
Please let me know if he is poisonous. I already wash my hands well after touching him and I'm trying to avoid touching him especially since I don't know what species he is. I only plan on keeping him for a few days or weeks but I would like to know what/ how often to feed him. I bought some crickets from Petsmart today and fed him one for tonight, is this enough? I thought it might be since he is so small but I feel like he needs more than that. Please answer ASAP I don't want him or myself to get hurt.
Looks like a young bullfrog - probably fresh out of the water.

How often should i feed it every day? So far I've been giving him about 2 crickets a day. Is this enough?
Well, it depends on how large the cricket are. If the crickets are pinhead sized, about 1/15 of an inch, then you will need to feed your frog more (about 3 or more a day). If the crickets are about 1/2 of an inch or a bit smaller, then about 2 crickets a day is good.
it looks like a baby bull frog
Awww....I wish bullfrogs would just show up in my living room. lol.
