Funny faces when eating....

I watched one of my White's eat yesterday, and she pulled the WEIRDEST faces after swallowing her crickets! She kept blinking, and opening her mouth then squatted a few times. It was so weird to watch, quite comical but wasn't sure if it's normal? And her belly was moving rapidly too, made me think the cricket was still alive in her stomach?

Hi Katie. Sometimes when frogs eat they pull in their eyes as it helps them swallow. It also could have been your Frog shedding it's skin. When I first saw my frog do this I thought it was choking. Frogs really are quite fascinating and they never cease to amaze me and Ive had Frogs for over 5 years.
