Bufo nebulifer is found around the gulf coast of the USA. When I lived in Texas I could find hundreds on a rainy night.

Amietophrynus pantherinus is from South Africa and is listed as endangered.

Bufo mauritanicus is found in North Africa and is listed as LC or least concern.

I am really thinking of writing an article about Amietophrynus pantherinus for meet the frog series
