Has anyone heard of any of these toads in the pet trade?
Amietophrynus pantherinus (These guys look really cool)
Bufo mauritanicus
Cranopsis valliceps
Nevermind the red one they are endangered (sadly for me and them)
Amietophrynus pantherinus (Smith, 1828), western leopard toad I am considering writing an article on this species.
Bufo mauritanicus (Schlegel, 1841), berber toad
Cranopsis valliceps is a synonym for Ollotis valliceps (Weigmann, 1833)
Yeah, I have heard of them.
Have they been kept as pets before, to your knowledge. And these articles that you write what do you do with them?
Johnny keeps Bufo nebulifer, which until a few years ago was considered to be valliceps. He has plenty of photos on the forum.

do you think you could catch them in the wild somewhere? are they common toads?
Bufo nebulifer is found around the gulf coast of the USA. When I lived in Texas I could find hundreds on a rainy night.

Hmm that would be great Kurt. Thanks
Hopefully I will get to work on it before the weekend is over.
It seems like the meet the frog articles are intros to some future care sheets.
Also how often do the meet the frog articles come out?
Another one just came out: http://www.frogforum.net/tree-frogs/...tree-frog.html

As soon as John can post them.

Haha why can't Kurt do that?
I don't have that power.

It's always good to have someone look over whatever you have written and look for mistakes, both technical and grammatical.
