They probably just aren't active enough to get his attention! Also sometimes the animals will just get used to one type of feeder and ignore the rest

I'd go w/ they don't wiggle enough to trip his hunting instincts. You could try feeding them from forceps and help them wiggle.
The guys have hit the nail on the head. Your frog also needs to get used to you using forceps to feed it. If it's a new frog then it will take time. Once the frog is used to the forceps you may also have to let the frog miss a few meals before he'll be tempted to try a new food.
