Is there any reliable way to tell the age of your White's before they begin to call(or not)? I'm not exactly sure how old my White's is, and I am slightly afraid about the entire "gender" issue. I really do love calling Leo by the name I had first given him- which is Leonidas. However, if it turns out that he is really a she. I will have to find a more suitable, Greek name for him. I know that I am probably making a scene over something that really is no big issue. But like an excited first parent- I want my baby to be a boy.Any way to tell males from females before sexual maturity? (I.E: throat bulging/sagging, etc?) Bah, just one random question- figured I'd ask. Because if I never do, I will never know until Leo is old enough and begins to call (or not.)
other things to look for are nuptial pads inside the thumbs when he/she is breeding age. I have one male (Dumper) that has them and one (Jade) that doesn't...
and if he/she becomes big, like over 3.5 Inches, then it's likely a female.
That helped me too thanks.
If does turn out to be a female, just rename her Leona.
