I checked its scientific name and is said Ceratophyrs Ornata. Is it just a mistake?
I wouldn't trust their label. Take a picture if you can and post it here so we can tell you. I would say it's probably Ceratophrys cranwelli, but it could be a C. ornata.

My local Petco has a green cranwelli labeled as an ornate and it's up for $25
I have seen it both ways at my nearest Petsmart. They label it "C.ornata", but most of the time it is a cranwelli. Once I saw an Ornate, however. It partially depends on the store.
I have yet to see any ornate at petsmart or petco.
The Petsmart that I purchased Grif from had him labled as an albino when clearly anyone even someone who doesn't know anything at all about Pacman frogs could see he was not. He is a C. Cranwelli.
Hey guys you all should know the names and how they look when you're in to pacs by now, lol . Those big chain petstores are so ooooff on there info that it actually works for the knolledgable consumer. On the other hand if you are a clueless consumer then you're gona get hurt. Do your research and learn a thing or two. Before i had any frogs i was on this site night and day learning my game, so i can play better.lol
If you find a true Ornate at Petsmart and it looks healthy BUY IT!! they are only 15 bucks at Petsmart
The ignorance extends further than big chain pet stores - I've seen adds for albino horned frogs listed on Kingsnake.com with the scientific name "Ceratophyrs Ornata" being included as part of the description. Undoubtedly, this is to enhance(???) the credibility of the vendor by including a scientific name... To the very best of my knowledge, there are no albino ornates available for sale anywhere...
