    Default Zoo Med Hygrotherm.

So I finally got tired of worrying about temp getting too high and humidity dropping on Grif's home when I leave the house for long periods of time so I purchased the Zoo Med Hygrothem tempreture and humidity control. I automatically shuts off heat sources when it get hotter than my programed temp and turns them on when it gets cool. Has night time cool down settings alarms to let you know if it still is way too hot and a visual flash so it catches your attention. It also has a photo sensor so it detects daylight and when it is dark. So far it works great. Of course I still have to mist the substrate for moisture but my Zoo Med Repti Fogger keeps the humidity up.

Did you purchase it because of Cheri's review?

Actually no. I haven't read her review. I purchased it because I had hopes that it would better maintain the environment inside Grif's enclosure. He gets annoyed sometimes when the fogger kicks on. He will whipe at his mouth. I guess he can feel the fog condense into a dew on his face. It also might help with his shedding. If I had a mister for the unit to control then I would not have to disturb him durring the day to moisten his substrate. I believe he just ate a cricket on his own just now. Only one of 3 that I dusted with calcium and placed in with him. One is better than none. Where can I find this article? I would like to read in anyway.
