That I don't believe. You could rig sphagnum up as a filter though and that would remove any small particles in the water.

Mostly because the fool's entire "survival" is staged by a film crew. Oh, and he eats anything that moves for ratings...including just about every herp. Give me Les Stroud any day of the week.
