Ok had to alter my tank a lil bit due to escape attempt... but thwarted that one easily but then had to look into a background fix.. now the background is a little taller and comes up to and touches the glass tops... now my tank doesn't ventilate as well... fog doesnt fog as much and temps are higher,.. anyone have a good DIY or how to on adding ventilation to a tank with small fans or the like??? Thanks guys!!
I've described on the site in a few places about making vents that reduce fogging on the glass. For what you're seeking, the best solution I know is this: DIY Air Circulation | GlassTropics

im guessing since this is brand is Orbits, that these parts are for sprinkler systems? Which my store has a very small parts section to choose from.. I cant find any of these pieces but kinda get the idea of what your going for ...im trying to find the parts now as were pretty slow ....
I've never built it so I haven't tried to get the parts. Sorry I can't help you directly with that.

I'm sorry, I for some reason assumed it was your DIY.....
No, no, if it was mine it would be on this site. I only write articles for this site (FrogForum), Caudata.org, and for Reptiles Magazine.

got ya... my only thing about that tutorial is, its only air movement.. not really ventilation per se...I may take that idea and work with it and see what i come up with to move outside air in and inside air out!! ill let you know .. thanks so much for the TUT though!!
Ok I built a out of tank system ... and boy has it ever helped my humidity and temps... glad something actually works the way they say it does...
