I used the search forum and didn't find anything specific to horned frogs, sooo-
What is everybody's take on mealworms as an occasional food for pacman frogs?
I know they are a staple for some lizard species, but have not considered feeding them as a staple to my frogs. I picked up a container at the pet store today because they were out of earthworms and low on crickets ... my new ornate seems to really like them, he ate quite a few from tongs (and tried to eat the tongs), and my albino cranwell ate one and then appeared either a. full (doubt it) or b. disinterested.
While I'm on it-- what do you guys think of these as occasional foods?
-Wax worms? - fatty, I know
-And red wigglers? - these I know not much about, other than that they are smaller than earthworms
