    Default My baby toads eat their first crickets (video)

    I still have some fruit flies left, but I wanted to try some small crickets today. Each toad ate 2, so I guess it was a success!

    I have two. I haven't named them yet because I'm not 100% sure of the gender.

    It is amazing how aggressive they are when it comes to eating...I thought my gray tree frogs were bad, but feeding toads is serious business LOL.

    Love it! These guys look great and are going after their food with great enthusiasm.

    I have to admit - I am a big meany - I pull the back legs off the crickets so they can walk but can't jump... Makes catching them easier for the toads... Less entertaining, though!

    I love watching them hunt down the crickets. They are like little assassins.
