Fish with clawed frogs?

Hey guys. I have a 55g I have had running for months now. It has 1 green terror cichlid. 1 fire mouth cichlid, and a rainbow cichlid. They're all now 2.5inch each. I was wondering if I could keep african clawed frogs with them? Maybe like 3-4 frogs? My tank is filtered with a large eheim canister filter rated for 150g.
Has 2 circulation pumps, and 3 air stone(the long ones).

I was wondering if these fish would do well with these frogs? or would the frog attempt to eat them? Or viceversa? the GT should grow to be 8inch, and fire mouth I think 6inch. Rainbow cich. would be 3.5inch.

Well i have seen acf with fish but cichlid are agressive territorial fish, I would think that they would stress the frogs out if not take a toe or two. I mean the frogs would go looking for a hiding spot and if its inhabited by a cichlid (which like there hides) the fish would fight for it. good luck let us know what you come up with

I'm trying to look for any kind of aquatic amphibian that could safely live with it.

The only advice I can give on that is, what ever you pick it needs to be at lease semi-aggresive to keep up with the cichlids. Have you looked into newt/salamanders?

Most newts are boring. But i'll have to give a look. I wish I could keep something like a mudpuppy in there though im in nj so it maybe illegal as well as sirens and such.

Bad advice... Newts and salamanders like it cold, Xenopus like it tropical. Clearly not a good setting.
