I didn't think it was necessarily bad, just wondering if there's a common reason he could have suddenly become so active. I mean, he's still going at it, and he's really throwing himself into it. I think it's startling, if anything; I've never had tree frogs before and they're so frail looking!
I was going to pick up another female at the next local bi-monthly animal expo. The male that is always calling and moving around the tank is a bit bigger than the other, so I suppose he's king of the tank.

I have three male Red Eyes and I have noticed one is definately more dominant and has more luck with the girls. He is also louder and chirps more often than the others. I can just play the radio softly and he'll hear it and start up. I think it's fun... When he's really going I can "chirp" at him and he'll chirp back. The louder I get the louder he gets.
