welcome and what lovely little frogs i did have to find him in the first picture!
I have witnessed my toads ignore food when they are full. I dont think they will over eat but I could be wrong. The pet store advised me not to put too many crickets as they will gang up on a toad and kill it. It may also stress the toad out. I took crickets out once when I saw my lil toad walking backwards with intimidation. Ants are also known to form an army against a predator. This is why im sticking with wingless/flightless fruit flies for now and maybe ill try those mini pinhead crickets if the pet shop ever stocks them.
i'm not feedign crickets right now. I have about 1,000,000,000,000 fruitflies haha. these guys are POUNDING them several times a day.
fruitflies will work great. order a culture from joshsfrogs and then u can start other cultures from excess flies from the original.
