Sometimes I'll use flash and sometimes I won't. It really all depends on the lighting.....if there is low lighting, I'll use flash and if there is bright light (such as if the sun is shining in the tank), then I won't use flash.

Yes, Woodies are typically small. Males will reach up to 2 inches in length and females up to 3 inches.
