Size: 114.5 KBGrabbed a 10 gal tank glass lid, comes in 2 4x18 pieces of glass. I heated the plastic that joins them an pulled them apart gently (wear gloves). Then used aquarium silicone to fasten one into the 40 gal tank, making the lagoon wall. let set for 3 days.

Size: 66.5 KBFill with water an let it stand for a few hours to make sure no leaks. Make a water mark on the glass so you can monitor water lvl. Also lay paper towels on land side to see if they get wet, ( micro leaks) they should be dry as a bone.

Size: 106.9 KBCanister filter for the lagoon , change it every 3 weeks. I use one called a Penn Plax Cascade Canister Filters - Aquarium Filter and Fish Tank Filter from PETCO.com its a beast. very quiet ( i see water flowing to know its on) an has a primmer to get it going.

Size: 74.9 KBRun the flexible tubes into the tank, no Aquarium extras needed. Just the tubes , i slit holes into the screen top, use a scissor an just twist an push lightly an the screen widens nicely an smoothly. a couple of nice rocks securley hides the tubes an keeps them in place. I also use suction cups . The filter tube ,the basket slips onto it. the fill tube i use as the waterfall feed.

Awesome! Thanks for the divider tip. Much easier than going to the glass cutter. Love the tank!

Starting to think of great decorating ideas for my new 55. Drew a sketch today from a waterfall picture I found online. Fun! I'll be starting pretty soon. Thanks for the hints!

    nice write up!

only part I didn't get is about the glass lid? I don't think I've ever seen a 10gal glass lid that has two long pieces of glass?

Yup that is it. I used a torch to heat the plastic that binds the 2 pieces, im sure a hair dryer or candle can do same thing, just need it to be warm, an the glass pulls right out. DONT use tools, i shatterd my first piece trying to pry it apart . heat works best , my 2nd tank i used this method on

Thanks Bro; basically this is what I'm looking at for my ABF! Did you had any leak problems over time where new silicone sticks to old original silicone at seams? Wondering if you removed old silicone first?
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
