I have a 10 gallon that has been sitting in my garage for a while and was wondering if there were any species that would work well for it? I don't like small enclosures and I know this is not...
I was given a 12x12x12 Exo Terra as part of a trade and was trying to figure out what if anything it was suitable for, so far it seems arachnids, bugs, and plants are the only options.
Not basic, just wrong. A lot of that will get you very sick frogs. I do agree that we need a care sheet here.
There is so much wrong with that first care sheet, The second one is not as bad but still has some bad care information. Do not let your frog live in a dirty tank.
I got my hands on a cheap 55 gallon and stand, its not perfect but I got all the old seal out of it and will be resealing it tomorrow.
I was looking at maybe getting them. I have no plans to breed. I am currently resealing a 55 gallon but my current tank is posted in the " My Frogs" thread.
Can I ask why you want to use a submersible filter? A canister would probably be the best but I don't know if it really fits being a " submersible filter"
He has found a home
Personally I use a Hang On Back filter. they make these with adjustable flow so you can overfilter without really stressing your frogs. My bigger guy doesn't seem to mind the water movement though,...
thanks I have had the foster boy about 6 weeks, so far so good
Partly because it is housing my much larger foster boy at the moment. And partly due to the filters, I don't think the bigger tank is safe quite yet.
I am looking for unique frog colors, I am also hoping to find a very light ( almost tan) Wild type.
I am hoping to upgrade eventually. I am usually a fan of more is better as well. I would like to get a 55 or 65 for them once they are a little bigger but for now they need to grow before they can...
I have a 38 gallon set up and cycled. I have read all the care sheets I can find and most say 10 gallons per frog, however some also say that it depends on the floor space of the tank. Currently I...
I would let him go for free to the right home.
It's sand actually. A fine sand. No gravel of any kind is in my tanks. My frogs are not afraid of my hands I hand/tong/pipette feed weekly. If you look in the picture my larger foster frog is in the...
I don't usually handfeed. I do when I offer brine shrimp or tilapia but I don't with their pellets.
Hi, I just joined the forum today and wanted to introduce my frogs, Mirage is only 1" long, and Paradox is only about 1.5" snout to vent. Currently they share a 10 gallon while they grow, but when...
I have a young male African Clawed Frog in need of a home. I took him in as a foster from a home that was not caring for him properly ( they told me he once lived in a filter for a month) he is only...
