I started misting him more regularly and it cleared up, but I think he had some sort of brain damage from being stepped on and he started declining pretty rapidly and passed yesterday. RIP Stanley...

He had a pretty bad episode and stopped breathing for a few seconds today. I’m starting to suspect some sort of respiratory infection. What’s the best way to go about treating him?

awwww she’s adorable! i’ve had plenty of toads in the wild with eyes like that. it doesn’t seem to harm them though it does impair their vision to varying degrees. as long as it doesn’t get any worse...

the links did work! as long as those don’t keep coming, i wouldn’t worry about it- most likely mouse leftovers. maybe do a water change and a dewormer though just to be sure. how’s squiggles?

poor frog! I'd take him to a vet. there are just too many appetite-loss-causing things to risk guessing wrong. :( hope he gets better!

aww both of them are precious! I've encountered many an adult toad with eye deformities like that and he should do just fine in the wild so you can release him without worry. frogsmile
