    You're quite welcome Np.

    Re: Gray tree frog question

    Happy to help Np.
The fogger isn't really necessary. You want humidity as if they were out in the woods in the summer, a summer when it rains each day a little but not like a rainforest. The reason...

    Re: Gray tree frog question

The reason you don't want to encourage captive Gray Tree Frog brumation is that an estimated 50% of the populations of species that do pass the winter months in that condition in the wild don't...

    Re: Gray tree frog question

Your assumption about him trying to cycle through the winter is correct. At your latitude he's going to start moving into his winter cycle right when you said you started noticing his changes. The...

This year I had to deal with helgramites feasting on the tadpoles so I scooped the ones I could catch out of the pool cover pond and gave them to some friends who are serious anglers. The dragonfly...

Re: Separating flightless fruit flies from dust?

My opinion on substrates in general is that they're too hazardous to make them worthwhile. I tried a few before determining that they're not necessary, but I have Gray Tree Frogs which makes...
  18. Re: New Frog Owner-White's Tree Frog not eating and skinny

What I did to assure my smaller frogs got a good start was to house them in a smaller tank, 10 gal or smaller, and feed them flightless fruit flies. I put the fruit fly container uncapped right...
