    Re: Hissers and Dubias

I guess you didn't understand the whole "not wanting to argue on a forum." Thank you for trying to "put me on a blast." I could go on and on blah blah "LLLreptiles is the most outrageously priced...

Wow, I did not think you would get so sensitive over asking where your knowledge was from. Is everything alright with you? If you need help with anything or you just need a shoulder feel free to PM...

    Re: Hissers and Dubias

Demon A, we personally have kept hissers with dubias. Hissers will prey upon dubia nymphs. Where does your knowledge of them not doing so come from?

    User - African Bullfrogs

Can you post pictures of your enclosures for the four pyxies you own.
edit: just curious how you house them all.

    Re: Sickness

maybe that "low low chance" is worth it to people who care about their pets. Herpguy, are you broke or something? Why get a pet if you cannot afford to take care of it, even in worst case scenarios....

    Re: Sickness

Maybe it's just a 20 dollar frog to Herpguy here... but a lot of people actually love their pets. I wouldn't consider saving (or even trying) a pet I personally care about "a complete waste of money"

Re: Can a Pyxie be fussy?

If the pinkie is dead already, imo it's much more difficult to get your frog to eat it, without the movement to trigger it to strike. I'm sure if you had a live one, your frog's response would be...

    Re: Thoughts on heat lamp?

I use a heat lamp. I put a hook to hold it higher above the enclosure, then adjust the cord until I reach my desired temps. I keep it on a 12\12 schedule. I'll take a pic and show you.

Try bumping up your daytime temps a bit. I'm 80-84 F during the day and 72-75 F during the night. Humidity ranges from 60%-80%.
