Re: Male FBT sluggish, not eating much...

This is our first winter with FBT's and they seem sluggish. The house is heated to the mid 60's and I have a heater set on low. They eat but they seem sluggish and spend more time on land than they...
  2. Re: Moss or ground cover plants for plantation mix soil

I'm going to move the pothos to the other side of the land section, less bunched up and it'll overhang over their log hide nicely.

Re: FBT set up suggestions and advice needed.

I think it looks great. I have two FBT's in my kids 20l and it's been smooth sailing for a few months now. Does the wet gravel start to smell after awhile? I did a divider in our tank because I was...
  5. Re: Moss or ground cover plants for plantation mix soil

    water changes

How often and how large of a water change do you do? I did 50% but I dont know if my main goal is just adding fresh water and waste removal or if I should drain compeletly to get their toxins out of...

Is this something to be concerned about?

I’ve seen posts about FBT’s turning black and I was concerned because one of ours is darker than the other.
Both have been observed eating crickets but the brighter colored one is a bit more active...

    20 gallon long with FBT’s

I originally planned on keeping a leopard frog for the kids but it was difficult to obtain one locally so we went with fire bellied toads instead. I have a small fluval filter but I’m wondering if I...
