You will probably have to start over and can try using something like Agro sealant, or a product with similar characteristics.

That would be my first choice, too. PVC is both cost-effective and durable and will not be replaced anytime soon.
Not bad. I've seen some led lights from NDR that have a similar set-up.
Do you have any experience with them?
Have you considered contacting a transport company? They should be aware of specific regulations and proper environment requirements.
