    Re: Photo of the month?

    Re: Help asap

I agree! With being stressed, it's normal for him not wanting to eat. I'd give it a couple days for him to adjust to his new environment. Very interested to see how things work out, so please keep us...

    Re: Strange Lump

I completely understand your worrisome mind! I'm a momma to many types of animals and I'm constantly worrying over anything that is out of the ordinary and then questioning/researching, so I get it!...

    Re: Strange Lump

Hi! Unfortunately, I think you are going to need to take her to an exotic vet to get a definitive diagnosis. It is not impossible for frogs to develop cancer but it is very rare and unlikely....

  11. Re: Feeder alternatives during quarantine

Have you tried or thought about raising your own crickets? I was afraid that we were going to run into these circumstances of obtaining feeders, so a couple months ago I began to raise my own...

  13. Re: Southern toad acting ill, wobbly, pointing head down

I am soooo sorry to hear that she didn't make it! And it sounds like it was a horrific and heartbreaking thing to watch that happen! I believe impactions can be very difficult to diagnose because...
  14. Re: Southern toad acting ill, wobbly, pointing head down

So sorry to hear about your girl! First... I'm a bit confused that you said she "drank" all her water, because toads do not drink. They absorb water through their skin and it would be hard to...

    Re: Cricket delivery and tips

I was having a similar issue with my crickets too until I increased the airflow! As long as I keep enough food and water in with them, they don't eat one another and the only dead ones I find are the...

    Re: Michel isnít shedding!

Try a slightly warm honey bath! It will help hydrate and slough off his dead skin. Should also help his toes!

    Re: WTF Swollen Eye

Looks more like a deformity...imo. Doesn't appear to be any discoloration, cloudiness or signs of infection... but if it gets worse... definitely take him to a vet! It's a good sign that he's active...

  23. Re: can anyone please help me. tomato frog is sick

This is just a desperate attempt, but have you heard of or tried using raw honey on the wounds? Honey is nature's antibiotic and antifungal and is a humectant (keeps moisture in) so it wouldn't dry...

Re: Umm intresting, check this out

I don't think it really matters where you are buying your worms from because your local shops may be getting their worms from the same supplier, unless they are breeding the worms themselves. Worms...
