    Unintentional Rescue Frog!

Hello all...have not been here in many years, good to be back.

I work as a florist and my co-workers found this little frog in a box of greenery (I had that day off but they called me right...

    Re: New to Fire Bellies

Even though your water portion will be filtered, the water should be changed frequently. Fire Bellies have toxins that build up in the water and they can poison themselves. I lost mine that way :-(

I dipped her in lukewarm water with a drop of honey. Took her a minute to calm down so I could hold her there. I was able to gently rub the skin off. I'm relieved and hope she is too!
  5. Re: RETF trouble with shedding....should I intervene?

I'll check in later tonight, thanks again!

  7. RETF trouble with shedding....should I intervene?

My little girl Tulip has a piece of skin toward her vent, it looks like it's wrapped a bit tight. Should I try to intervene or wait another day or two? I just noticed it yesterday. She's acting...

    Feeding juvenile White's tree frog..?

My little White's is still pretty small maybe 2 inches and I feed him/her every day. I'm still trying to figure out how much to feed him.

He/She ALWAYS acts hungry! Even if I've fed him/her tons,...

Re: getting chilly U.T.H. ok? for whites

From what I understand you can't use a UTH on the bottom with a false bottom. The standing water and the heat pad don't mix-- the glass may break. You can use a UTH on the side of the tank, making...

Don't you have cats? My cats love chasing the crickets that are too big for the frogs. Then my male cat eats them. Funny and gross at the same time.

    Re: Starter size?

One factor to consider is, can you get the really small crickets that babies need? Not every supply store sells the really little ones.

    Re: No Poop!???!Whites

Have you checked the whole tank for poop? If it's a planted tank it may have fallen in the dirt, or be stuck on the wall behind a plant or something.

Some others have mentioned plain Pedialyte...

    Re: Y u no poopie?!

Hi Becky and Gertrude, love your avatar, hehe. My frogs took a while to poop too. There were two so it was quite confusing who was pooping and who wasn't. Took almost 2 weeks before I found two poops...
