Okay, thank you for your input!
She looks very thin towards her back legs, but I was happy to see her eat one cricket. She seems to be moving very slowly as well but the tank is warm.
Here are more pictures of the toe. It almost looks as though it's going to fall off since the skin connecting the toes is very thin looking.
I will take more pictures today when I'm home. It doesn't look like an infection since there's no open wound or anything.
Hello all!
i received three whites tree frogs in the mail today, and they're in quarantine right now. I was handling one frog to inspect her really quickly after taking her out of her shipping...
Now it seems that every morning when I turn on her lights, she bright green and usually in her water dish or just out and about. Any explanation for this?
I think for my frog it might have to do with temperature, as when I take her out to clean her tank, she turns green, but when she's in the warm tank, she's brown, and when she's in
the room...
I recently purchased a WTF from a pet store near me just over a week ago, and she is almost always brown. I turned on her lights this morning and she was in her water dish and was a nice blue-ish...
OK, thank you for the advice. :)
So the calcium fortified cricket quencher might not be the best thing to feed the crickets all the time, but rather feed them
things like lettuce, and then the calcium quencher a day or so before...
How often should I feed the frog insects dusted with calcium and D3? Should I get just pure calcium powder? And I'll check the size of the crickets when I get home from school.
I ended up getting some "Flukers calcium cricket quencher" and the crickets have been eating it. I have her a calcium and D3 dusted cricket on Monday, a "large" size cricket from petsmart. Most of...
Hello all! I bought my first whites tree frog yesterday, it's a female (I believe) who I named Aileen, and I have her in quarantine just to be on the safe side while I'm letting the plants grow in on...
I've listened to some videos of males croaking, and I'm worried the frog will get quite loud haha! I would like a male and female, but i don't want to end up with eggs someday, so should I get either...
They're about an inch in length. I don't know how old that would make them.. Also, I was wondering, as I can't find some solid info on this, but when do the males croak? Is it only during breeding...
Sorry if I wasn't clear, the 10 gallon tank is a quarantine tank, as well as the 16 gallon bin. Does this change things? The frogs at the pet store are kept in 5.5 gallon tanks, so I thought that a...
Thanks for the reply! So I can keep both frogs in the same tank (10gallon) if I get them from the same store?
Hello all! I'm new to this forum, and was wondering if a 16 gallon storage bin that's been sanitized with vinegar diluted with water would be a safe place to quarantine a whites tree frog?
Im going...
