i've never tried, but i'd be afraid of the crickets eating the freshly molted roaches, they can be pretty brutal even with their own species.
i just buy cheap sterile bins at meijer and put holes...
Bait shops are great, just make sure to check the worms aren't dyed or anything :) It'll usually be on the label if they are, though.
