I agree. I have asked severa; other frog keeper friends, and pretty much that is what everyone has said. If it changes in any way I will get it looked at by a vet. Thanks for your opinion!

Hey ya'll! I just got 4 new froglets yesterday.
I received one with either a swollen eye or deformity. To me looks almost like there is no eye lid.
I need opinions. Should I be...
I can't answer as to why the algae, but I can say that I have a large Pleco in my tank with my ACFs. They have lived together for about 3 years now. He helps keep it clean.
So, just an update. He has made a full recovery. :) The open sores have closed, and he is happy again.
Cute!
So I currently have him soaking, and he seems just fine. The bump is just about gone. The concerning part now is that where the bump was, there is now another cut. I'm starting to wonder if these...
Hey guys, Chomper still has the cut, but still eating and doing well. He has no behavior changes at all. The cut doesn't seem to bother him. I even have watched him when he is moving, and he moves...
I just feed mine until they no longer show an interest. But I vary what I feed as well. I don't do as many super worms as I do other foods.
Also, what reptile show was in Houston that I missed?...
I just figured I would do an update.
Chomper seems to be fine, other than the wound. He is still eating, and even pooping during a couple of the medicated soaks. The bump has gone down...
I love the characters ACFs have! Mine are two girls, Lemondrop and Gumdrop. They love nothing more than being together. They are so social and fun to watch. They recognize me as their food source and...
I noticed this thread is basically dead, but figured I'd try anyways.
Last weekend I went on a search for tomato frogs. I did find one, but had every intent of getting 2. Where is the best place...
HI! I'm in Texas too! I switched over when I got bored with watching them eat crickets. You can cut an earthworm to whatever size. I tong feed, so they eat whatever I put in front of them.
Yes, I agree. I was just comparing the two to see the difference. I'm going to try these tonight. (these as in the API Turtle Fix and the neosporin)
Now, here's to hoping he doesn't get overly...
Thank you for the quick reply! Land Before Time should always be a household favorite.
I was thinking about neosporin, but I was hesitant.
I was also thinking about 30 min soaks in API Turtle...
While I clean my pacman"s enclosures, I always put them into a smaller container with clean warm water. The container is clear, and because so many pacmans spend most of their time burrowed, I use...
What a cutie!
Be sure and ask the vet what could have possibly caused this. I am curious to know. Either way keep us updated, and I wish you and her the best!
All of the local exotic pet stores have them in my area.
He sure is a beauty!
I see all the time where they sell pacman frog tadpoles in bulk. I am really jealous!
Hopefully this summer I'll be moving into a bigger place, which means more froggies! I want tadpoles to be my...
Aww, Mr Pickles is what helped me decide to go ahead and get one myself. frogsmile
I actually have wondered this myself, and from the same source, instagram. I could not find anything about it online either. I just decided to not without the proper sourcing. However, I cook with...
So glad someone asked this question! If I can't find a tomato frog at Decemeber's reptile show, I was going to wait until spring to order from them.
Looks like a giant to me.
