    Glad it pooped eventually. Just to note it will have every chance to ingest substrate every time it sheds as the substrate can stick to the skin as it is pulled into the mouth and swallowed.

    They quite easy to breed. Pretty much the same as other Agalychnis species. Follow directions for breeding Red eye tree frogs.

    If you could post a good photo of the inside of the thumbs on the front feet it could help in determining sex.

    yep definately carrying eggs! My female was the same when she had eggs, unfortunatley they weren't fertile and they were eventuallly expelled from the pouch. Fingers crossed and good luck with them!...

    A photo like this. This is a male Agalychnis saltator, though A. callidryas will be the same if the male is in breeding condition. If not it is harder but possible.

    Yeh they need the competion from other males calling to breed well. More than one male works best.
