    Re: Terrarium temp

I appreciate your response. He did wake the other day and went after a mealworm I put in there. This is the 4th winter I've had him and he's "hibernated" each winter. It consisted of him digging down...

Re: Liquid vitamins - how long to soak?

In the past when I've done this I put my Woodhouse's in a dish overnight with the soak. I put him in when I went to bed and he was still there when I woke up. Total times vary between 6 to 12 hours.

    R.I.P. Hopper

My female? Woudhouse's toad is about to pass away. Found her belly up in a feeding dish. She is stiff as a board and her heart is barely beating. I believe due to my inexperience she had MBD about 2...

Re: Signs of constipation or impaction

I do have a feeding dish. I think sometimes my toads mistake reptobark as a bug.

She's fine. She dug herself in a hole and wouldn't eat the first day. But she had a couple supertones last night.

I broke it apart. It was filled with reptobark. She sometimes wats that when she misses a cricket.

Re: Spine protruding in the back

It's resolved but I think it happened because she is trying to push out stool. I think she may be constipated or impacted.

I think my Woodhouse's toad might be constipated or impacted. Her anus looks like it is open (not tight) and there appears to be some liquid/mucus type stool coming out occasionally. Her butt is...

One of my toads is like this and the other is not. Try superworms, they move and crawl a lot which might help stimulate your toad to eat. My "hibernating" toad has gone over a month without eating. I...
