You can clearly see the grayish velvety nuptial pads on his inner 3 fingers of his thickened forearms, so I'm absolutely sure he is a male. :-)

Hiya, I would say the adspersus is a male, given his relatively thickened forearms. This is a reliable means of sexing (short of dissecting him to take a look inside). The edulis is too young still...

I think your frog is a boy because: a) he called, and b) he has the expanded forearms typical of adult males. His size is good for an individual +1 year old. Nice frog.
