Pixies eat a bunch. Nine crickets isn't much of a meal for a frog that size. You might want to throw in some nightcrawlers or something larger. Welcome to the forum.

You can raise a pixie in a 20 gallon. All they want to do is eat, poop, soak, and stay still, until it's time to start over.

There are going to be big size differences. I have a 4-5 inch male that is the same age as Bugsy, my 8 inch male. I actually found it harder to get a female than a male.
