Re: Baby pacman frog refusing food

I followed the first thread and have been following this one and I thought I should speak up. It was obvious to me from the picture that the "stick" was in fact coming from the inside of the frog....

Re: White spots on red eyed tree frogs

Most red eyes I have seen have at least a couple spots. :) As long as your enclosure is being kept clean I wouldn't worry about it.

I thought the white spots were normal? How long have you had the frogs?

    Re: ID frogs

It looks like you have at least 2 species in there. I am guessing Masked Swamp froglets and Rhinoceros froglets.
Sounds like they are being sold as feeders? I don't know how you are going...

For mine I just used treated water. I didn't cycle it and I never had any problems.

    Re: Pacman housing

The tank does look better. I agree with Cory about covering 3 sides of the enclosure.

Re: Help With a Sick / Hurt Leopard Frog

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but if your calcium does not have vitamin D3 she will not be able to absorb the calcium properly unless you are using UVB lighting.

    Re: Redo!! 2nd attempt paludarium

Awesome!! This tank looks great! I like the plant selection :)
  15. Re: Is There Any One Feeding Night Crawlers To Their Frogs?

  17. Re: Is There Any One Feeding Night Crawlers To Their Frogs?

Earthworms in North America are actually invasive and were brought here by European settlers. There is no evidence to suggest that earthworms existed here before then. The kind that you want to look...

    Re: Crickets & earthworms

You gotta keep em separated! :D They have different care requirements. Worms need to be kept moist and crickets need to be kept dry.

Re: Frog idea for 100 gallon palu

I would love to see your pictures! If this is your first build I would skip the waterfall. They tend to fail. Vietnamese Mossy Frogs (Theloderma Corticale) would be good for a build like this...
  20. Re: Is There Any One Feeding Night Crawlers To Their Frogs?

You can keep them in a dark plastic box with holes drilled in the lid and bottom of the box for ventilation and drainage. Fill the box with fertilizer free soil and add worms. Make sure the soil is...
