Is he still alive? He is definately sick :( mine had that blotchy color which can mean bacterial infection. Try soaking him Melafix and pimafix found in the fish section. Safe for frogs. Use a drop...
update on my Red-Eyed Leaf Frog... He is still alive and seems to be doing well...the spot is now a bluish color. Must have been trauma from his ride home.frogsmile

It was pretty big, unfortunately the batch I got was big in size. This last batch was much smaller so I pick out smaller ones for them :)
Okay I'll inquire about it.
My ordinary get could test that right?
Did these marks looks like this? The spot on his back and a scrape type mark on his leg.
My guy seems to be doing good. So far he eats, poops and is active. His spots seem better. I have no exotic vets around so was hoping these areas looked familiar to experienced Red-Eyed Leaf Frog...
Hey all! Im from Nova Scotia and I'm a froggy mom to 6 fire bellied toads and three RETF. I just joined this forum because I'm always researching on these little guys and it seems everything comes...
I have three male Red-Eyed Leaf Frog and would like a female. I can't get any from the States so is there any Canadian breeders that will ship? I am located in Nova Scotia.
Good to know! He acts fine so far, I have another week for the warranty so I hope he is okay!
This picture was taken last night when he woke up to eat, notice the dark spots that is surrounded by the bright green?
It does! I hope it's working, black spot doesn't seem to be going away thou :/
Hey there, I purchased my third RETF last week and when I brought him home he was mottled in color. when I did some research they said he may be just stressed or other things I found was bacterial...
