reuniting with my old friend

well last night at about 7:00pm, something amazing happened.

last april i found an american toad in my backyard, it was a female with one leg missing. it looked like she hadn't eaten in a while so i brought her in and kept her in my vivarium and fed her so she would get her strength back. later that week i had to let her go because it was breeding season, but i knew she would find a toad who loved her.

anyway, last night i was out looking in the yard for salamanders, and i found a toad, and it had one leg missing. it was the frog i had taken in a few months ago ;o i moved her to the edge of my yard because i was worried she'd jump in the pool. it was a good night.
