  1. Really? Does that mean I could get two frog-locations in one day! Sweet! Thanks for all the help, buddy! Can't wait to catch those hoppers
  2. The big pond above is high knoll park, and the creek across colebrook is nickomecle creek with the trail next to it
Good luck finding those red leggies!
  3. Gonna head to Nicomeckle creek soon. So, it's below Colebrook Rd, in that little trail, or is it the big pond above Colebrook road?
  4. Thanks! I'll be heading there during the spring and summer. Can't wait to get herping again
  5. Hey there Gnag
Nickomeckle crfeek is across from colebrook road once you enter surrey or more likely in your case, before you enter langley, the frogs dont live on the creek but when you follow the creek, you will find some small ponds next to the creek. hope this helps!
  6. Hey, Bob.

I'm curious; where is Nicomeckle Creek? I plan on finding some Red legged frog eggs, raising them to froglets, and then releasing them back into the wild. I've got the resources and tank to do it.
  7. Really? ive never ever seen any green frogs around, i usually go along Nicomeckle creek for the red legs and highknoll park for bullfrogs, highknoll's only frog populations are bullfrogs because of what i suspect to be BD. That is a TON of information for herping! ill look forward to spring and summer!

    Thanks
  8. I saw your album. You find Rana Aurora in Langley? Out in Maple Ridge, we only find Green frogs and Bullfrogs. We see TONS of them, though, so you might want to try where we go: Whonnock Lake. There's tons of tadpoles there during the spring late spring to early summer, and we've seen groups of 20 juvenile frogs and froglets in some parts during the summer. And we've caught some truly massive frogs, as well as a Black Crappie and 2 Garter Snakes. If you want newts, go to Mike Lake in the August. According to a friend of mine, there's dozens of them there during that time. I've yet to go there and see them, though. And do not worry. We always let whatever animals we catch go, and we avoid hurting them at all costs. The only animals we have kept is the Black Crappie, and of course, my frogs Gnag and Bumpy.
