While it's nice for all the sponsors to support the forum, do they give discounts to members? Eg; 10% off or something like that. When I go to their websites it doesn't mention anything about discount for members. I run a business and customers who are members in certain clubs get a preferred price for certain things. Or give members the opportunity to become premium members by donating say $20 to the forum and get better pricing through sponsors. Just my 2 cents.
It depends on the sponsor, but mostly, no. The benefit is that they are effectively paying for the site to run and for its maintenance. I have mentioned the idea of discounts to a few sponsors though so expect to see something along those lines in the not too distant future.
