My two acf adults that I raised from a tadpole kit several years ago recently laid eggs. I separated the adults from the eggs and now they have begun to hatch. Many tads are clinging to the sides but many are motionless on the bottom. I am beginning to wonder if they are dead and if I need to remove the bodies from the tank to keep bacteria from growing? Thoughts? Also do I need a heat lamp? And will baby brine shrimp pellets work for food? Advice would really help. The tadpoles only just began ...
Hello I have a male gray tree frog losing color in splotches around his mouth and is moving back across his face. Where he has lost color, it is totally white and devoid of any color. The frog is still feeding regularly. The frog was wild caught three years ago and might gut feeling is he might be old. If anybody has any suggestions or ideas, I'm all ears. Thank you for your time
Hey I'm new to owning amphibians. I need help from some pros. I caught 3 juvenile bull frogs. There all in an critter container cuz that's all I had. Do I NEED any lighting or heating and what's there life span. Also I have 3 reptiles and a tarantula so yeah.i filled the container with water and peat moss from my crested geckos cage because I had extra and with a big rock and a fake log. I've had my albino pacman frog for a year now. He used to feed good and agressive your now he isn't really interested in eating. I have to run it against his mouth awhile until he finally eats it. And when he does he snaps it up like he's really hungry. I've tried everything! Crickets, waxworms, pinkies, nigtcrawlers. He just isn't interested!!! This started in December. Why won't he chase and bite at his food anymore. He just sits there until I try to feed him. Temps are normal, clean cage everything ...
