Thank you! I am hoping they will eat soon, but they're not too keen on coming out of burrow at this point. I can't blame them--a new home is very overwhelming. Some of the ones in The Colony took close to 3 weeks to eat :/

I did Environmental Studies as my undergrad, and instead of doing advanced chemistry classes, physics and calculus, we had the option to do an undergrad thesis, which is what I chose. I have mixed feelings about it, but overall I really enjoyed it a lot.

Congrats on your little new toads and your decision to become a frog expert in college. Did not know college requires now an undergraduate thesis... wow !

Well, I can't blame them for being tired of that one note pacman song hit.

Okay, that has to be one of the best things to see ever. I have a Pacman frog and he makes really silly noises. Sometimes I think they like our music better than their own.

My C. cranwelli seems to love dubstup and futurama, love his squeaky teen croaking. At first I was trying to get him to respond to a pacman frog croaking video on youtube, but I seem to get better results with the previous two, odd little frogs we have.

Actually, that's what's great about it---it will not cause impaction even if they do eat a little bit of it. I wish I could describe it better, but they are able to at least pass it if they do

Very interesting choice of substrate would never think to use that for burrowing toads. What if they were to eat the substrate and not spit it out? Would that cause impaction?
